Kayla Isaacs is an experienced professional in the catering and events management sector, currently serving as the Catering & Events Sales Manager for Demos' Restaurants since December 2019. Prior to this role, Kayla worked as a Catering Coordinator at Omni Hotels & Resorts for several months in 2019 and operated a self-employed arts and design business from September 2017 to May 2019, specializing in handmade items such as decals and painted signs. Kayla started in the hospitality industry at Painturo's Italian Restaurant in 2013, progressing from a cashier to a managerial position, thus gaining valuable customer service and problem-solving skills. Great food always has a history. Ours began in 1943 when, at the age of 9, Jim Demos began working with his father Pete in their small, family owned restaurant in Birmingham, Alabama. As a Greek immigrant family, the Demos knew the important of offering exceptional food with authentic ingredients at quality prices. Because of our strong belief that many people enjoy eating in restaurants that offer memorable dishes at a good honest value, we have spent many years developing and collecting authentic recipes from our family, many parts of the country and overseas. Being part of a family that is rich in restaurant traditions has afforded us the opportunity to establish our restaurant as a place where people can enjoy a unique dining experience – one that features exceptional service and a variety of heritage dishes, all handmade with fresh ingredients and served in generous portions.
