Charl du Toit

Charl du Toit has over 18 years of work experience in the IT industry. Charl is currently working as an IT Support Specialist at Demyst since February 2022. Prior to this, they were employed at Compile Consulting from November 2009 to February 2022, where they worked as a Network Engineer and IT Consultant. Charl also worked at First Technology as a Network Engineer from January 2009 to October 2009, where they managed and implemented network solutions for clients and maintained Microsoft Windows servers. Before that, they served as an Information Technology System Administrator at HBD Management Services / Shuttleworth Foundation from June 2005 to December 2008. Charl's early career includes a role as a Second Tier Technical Support Agent at Mweb from January 2004 to June 2005.

Charl du Toit completed their education in a variety of institutions. In 2003, they attended Prestige College and obtained a degree in A+, N+, i-Net+, Server+. In 2006, they attended Prestige College once again and acquired a degree in Linux+. In 2007, they studied at New Horizons, where they obtained a degree in C|EH EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacking. In 2009, they attended Torque IT and completed a degree in MCSE 2003. Finally, in 2017, they enrolled at Think 360 to pursue an LPIC-1 degree.
