Roar Skau Olsen

Roar Skau Olsen is a seasoned professional in sound design and film production, currently serving as a member of various advisory councils at Det Danske Filminstitut, including the Film Council and the Short and Documentary Film Council. In addition, Roar functions as an admission committee member at The National Danish Film School and leads as chairperson for the Trade Union for Danish Film and Television Workers. As a partner and co-founder of Tonemestrene Aps, Roar specializes in sound design for feature films, television, commercials, and documentaries. Notable recent work includes supervising sound design for "The Sommerdahl Murders" and the film "Meter I Sekundet." Roar holds an MFA in Sound Design from The National Danish Film School and has also served as a guest lecturer, sharing expertise in sound design and audiovisual storytelling.
