Philip Thomas Currell Brosstad

Philip Thomas Currell Brosstad has worked as a Principal Dancer at Den Norske Opera & Ballett from February 2004 to the present. Philip Thomas also served as a Personal Assistant to the Artistic Director at the same company starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Corps de Ballet dancer at The National Ballet of Portugal from August 2003 to February 2004.

Philip Thomas Currell Brosstad began their education in 1996 at The Royal Ballet School, where they studied for five years until 2001. Following that, they attended the English National Ballet School from 2001 to 2003. Throughout their education, Philip did not pursue a specific degree or field of study.

In addition to their formal education, Philip has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In December 2020, they completed the "ArtsAdminx: Inspiring and Motivating Arts and Culture Teams" certification from the University of Michigan. In October 2020, Philip obtained the "First Nights - Stravinsky´s Rite of Spring: Modernism, Ballet, and Riots" certification from HarvardX. Most recently, in February 2022, Philip obtained the "Foundations of Project Management" certification from Coursera.
