Terry Metzger

Terry Chevalier-Metzger serves as the Superintendent of Denair Unified School District since July 2018, actively leading the Denair community. In addition, Terry has been a part-time faculty member at California State University, Stanislaus since January 2014, instructing in the Department of Advanced Studies in Education for both the Educational Administration (MA) and Educational Leadership (Ed.D) programs. Previously, Terry held the position of Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction at Rincon Valley USD from July 2012 to June 2018, overseeing various educational projects aimed at improving instructional quality and professional development. Terry's career began as the Principal of Marengo Ranch Elementary in the Galt Joint Union Elementary School District from October 2002 to July 2012. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from California State University, Stanislaus and a Master of Arts (MA) in Educational Administration. Terry also attended the ACSA Superintendent's Academy from 2014 to 2015.
