Jason Dugas

Jason Dugas is a seasoned professional in the field of pharmacology and biological research, currently serving as the Director and Head of Discovery Pharmacology at Denali Therapeutics since October 2016. Dugas leads the Discovery Pharmacology and Automated Laboratory Facility groups, focusing on developing novel assays in collaboration with various scientific programs and implementing automation solutions in early-stage research and therapeutic discovery. Previously, Dugas held roles such as Staff Scientist at Rigel Pharmaceuticals Inc., Associate Director of Discovery and Translational Biology at the Myelin Repair Foundation, and had a significant tenure at Stanford University School of Medicine as a Life Science Research Associate. Dugas holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
