Kp Smith

KP Smith is an experienced leader in clinical operations with a diverse background spanning over two decades in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Head of US Clinical Operations and Outsourcing at Denali Therapeutics since December 2020, KP Smith has held various pivotal roles in clinical operations, including Sr Director at Tempest Therapeutics and Director of Global Clinical Operations at Graybug Vision. Prior experience at Genentech encompasses multiple leadership positions such as Associate Director and Clinical Program Manager. KP Smith began the career as a Clinical Research Associate at Titan Pharmaceuticals and PPD, and also served at Alta Bates Cancer Center and the University of Washington as a Study Coordinator. KP Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and French from Portland State University, completed between 1990 and 1994.
