Marcus Chin

Marcus Chin is a Senior Scientist at Denali Therapeutics since January 2022, specializing in microscopy and high-content imaging to advance discovery and preclinical programs in lysosomal and cellular biology. Prior to this role, Marcus completed a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenomics at the University of California, San Francisco, focusing on lysosomal function in neurodegenerative diseases. Experience includes a Graduate Student Internship at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where in vivo morphology studies were conducted, and a postgraduate research role at the University of Cambridge, studying macroautophagy modulators. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and a Master of Philosophy in Medical Science from the University of Cambridge.
