Amaka Aguwa

Amaka Aguwa has extensive work experience in project controls and resource management. Amaka started their career at Kiewit, where they worked as a Lead Piping Estimator and later as a Project Controls and Field Engineer. Amaka then joined Bentley Systems and held various roles, including Project Manager & Project Controls and Global Resource Manager. At Willbros Engineers, they worked as a Project Controls Specialist, overseeing the financial aspects of multiple projects. Currently, Amaka is the Lead Project Controls at Denbury Resources Inc., where they have established and grown the facility project controls group and led the cost tracking and analysis efforts for a large NGL project.

Amaka Aguwa attended the University of Saskatchewan from 1998 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, they pursued another Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science during the same period at the same institution.
