Bill Atchison has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Bill began their career as a Sales Representative at Cogent Communications in 2000. In 2002, they transitioned into the field of environmental biology, working as a Field Biologist at Advanced Environmental Technologies, LLC until 2004. At SAIC, from 2004 to 2006, they worked as a NEPA Planner, providing support services for environmental contracts. From 2006 to 2008, they served as an Environmental Planner at HNTB. In 2008, they joined Enercon Services, Inc. as a Project Manager and Senior Environmental Specialist until 2012. Currently, they are employed at Denbury Resources Inc. as a Program Manager for NEPA and Natural Resources Technical Lead, a role they have held since July 2017.
Bill Atchison completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in Marine Science at the University of South Alabama. Bill attended the university from 1993 to 1998. In addition to their degree, Bill Atchison obtained a certification as a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) from EnviroCert International, Inc. in March 2020.
