Jacob Tirey

Jacob Tirey has worked in the tech industry since 2005. Jacob started as a freelance location soundman and then worked as a Tier 2 Technician for InMotion Hosting in 2008. In 2006, they became a Project Manager/Soundman/DVD Authoring at Entrepid Media. In 2010, they worked as an Escalations Managed Services Tech/Blog Writer for ServInt Internet Services. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Site Reliability Engineer for OmniTI and then a Lead Site Reliability Engineer for Sestra Systems. In 2014, they also became the Owner/Developer of PeachFlame, where they were responsible for developing new software applications and creating the systems infrastructure to support them. In 2017, they began working as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for Patrocinium Systems, Inc., and in 2021, they became the Chief Information Security Officer & Senior Site Reliability Engineer for Dendi.

Jacob Tirey attended Purdue University from 2004 to 2006, studying Nuclear Engineering. In 2006, they attended ComputerTraining.com and obtained an MCSA and MCP in Microsoft Networking. Jacob also obtained an MCSA certification from Microsoft.
