Matthew Rasmussen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering, program management, and IT operations, currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Dendreon since December 2014. Prior roles include Independent Consultant providing technical PM and support services to a biotech firm, and managing the Software Development Lifecycle for Dendreon's Intellivenge™ system. Matthew began the career at Amgen as a Quality Control Specialist and has also held positions in quality assurance and research. With a background in molecular biology, Matthew holds a BS degree from the University of Washington. Experience encompasses technical program management, application life cycle management, IT compliance, and production support.
