Amidst a rapidly evolving grid, marketplace, and climate - Dendrite Consulting exists to streamline project siting for renewable power development. We simulate, analyze, and dig up data to help find interconnection locations that promote a healthy, cost-efficient transmission network.

We find transmission capacity for power projects using industry standard powerflow software, and moderate risk by conducting sensitivity analyses that examine the impact of neighboring queued generators. In parallel, Dendrite Consulting will assess the cost of transmission, whether it be from wheeling or basis risk.

Dendrite Consulting provides forward-looking guidance by measuring the implications of changes proposed by states, FERC, ISOs, PUCs, and LSEs. Our past analyses include fossil fuel plant retirement predictions, resource adequacy margin forecasts, and nation-wide energy storage siting strategy. With over 10 years of data analytics experience, Dendrite Consulting can create customized algorithms to unveil the areas that will benefit most from renewable power development and inverter-based grid services.
