Mostafiz Uddin

Mostafiz Uddin is a prominent figure in the textile and apparel industry in Bangladesh, serving as the Managing Director of Recycle Exchange since March 2024, which promotes circular fashion through innovative recycling practices. Mostafiz is the Founder and CEO of several initiatives, including the Bangladesh Climate Action Forum and Bangladesh Circular Economy Summit, both dedicated to addressing climate change and fostering sustainable economic growth. Other notable ventures include Best of Bangladesh, which highlights Bangladeshi culture and industry, and the Sustainable Apparel Forum, which champions sustainability within the apparel supply chain. Mostafiz also founded the Bangladesh Fashionology Summit and Bangladesh Apparel Exchange, both aiming to enhance knowledge sharing and innovation in the industry. Additionally, Mostafiz established the Bangladesh Denim Expo to promote the denim sector. Previously, from 1999 to 2009, Mostafiz served as Chairman of MAS International, a key player in ready-made garment exports. Mostafiz holds a degree from the University of Madras.
