Janna Switzer

Janna Switzer, BSc, PMP has a diverse work experience in the field of environment, sustainability, and regulatory compliance. Janna has held various leadership positions, including Vice President of Environment, Sustainability & Regulatory at Denison Mines Corp. and Director of HSE Regulatory Compliance at the same company. Prior to Denison Mines Corp., they worked as a Senior Advisor in Communities and Social Performance at Rio Tinto. Janna also has extensive experience at Cameco Corporation, where they served as a Senior Specialist in Sustainability and Stakeholder Relations. Janna was also a Senior Environmental Assessment Coordinator and an Environmental Leadership Specialist at Cameco Corporation. Earlier in their career, Janna worked as an Environmental Project Manager at Envirocore and JM Switzer Consulting Inc. and as a Fisheries Technician at Saskatchewan Watershed Authority.

Janna Switzer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Alberta, where they completed their education from 1998 to 2002. In addition, they attended the University of Saskatchewan in 1997-1998.
