Mikkel Tetland

Mikkel Tetland is a Professional Geoscientist with extensive experience in the uranium mining sector. Currently serving as the Technical Services Lead at Denison Mines Corp. since January 2018, Mikkel oversees technical services for ISR mining at the Phoenix deposit and evaluates other ISR amenable deposits. Previous roles at Denison include Technical Services Coordinator and Contract Geologist, where responsibilities encompassed planning ISR field test work and conducting various technical studies. Mikkel's experience includes working at Cameco Corporation as an Intermediate Geologist and Geologist in Training, with duties ranging from geological data management to resource estimation. Mikkel also served as a Laboratory Instructor at the University of British Columbia and completed a geological internship at North Rim Exploration Ltd. Mikkel holds a Master of Science degree from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Geology from the University of Saskatchewan.
