Dion Cook

Dion Cook is an experienced entrepreneur and educator with a strong background in business development and community outreach. As the Founder and CEO of Denkyem Coop since October 2018, Dion has focused on supporting Black businesses in Washington state by providing access to affordable loans and personalized services. Co-founding edyou llc in December 2017, Dion emphasizes relationship-based education to empower students in their learning journeys. Previous roles include Lending Partnerships Manager at Community Credit Lab and Senior Loan Officer at Rainier Valley Community Development Fund, where Dion facilitated credit access and supported local economic growth. With a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Goddard College and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, Dion combines educational expertise with a commitment to community development.
