Dickie Downs MBE serves as the Head of Senior School and Head of Economics and Business Studies at DBS Denla British School since August 2021. Previously held the position of Housemaster at Harrow International School Bangkok from August 2015 to July 2021, where Dickie was the inaugural Housemaster for Boys' Senior House. Earlier experience includes teaching at Malvern College from September 2012 to August 2015, where leadership roles encompassed Head of the Combined Cadet Force and Leadership Coordinator. Prior military service with the British Army spanned from September 2001 to September 2012, including roles as Project Manager, Operations & Change Manager, Training and Development Manager, and Junior Manager and Operations Officer, the latter resulting in the award of an MBE at age 27. Educational qualifications comprise a Master's degree in Education (Leadership and Management) from the University of Bath, a PGCE from the University of Buckingham, and a BA (Hons) in Economics and Accounting from Newcastle University.

Denla British School is a British curriculum school for children aged 3-18 (Early Years 1 to Year 13). Founded in 2017, the School initially enrolled students aged 3-10 in 2017, aged 3-12 in 2018 and will extend into a complete through-school in subsequent years. The school is modeled base on the UK independent school sector and is structured into Pre-Prep school (Early Years-Year 2), Prep school (Year 3-8) and Senior school (Year 9-13). Denla British School is located in Nonthaburi, northwest of Bangkok.
