Brendan McNamara

Brendan McNamara, CPA has over 20 years of work experience, starting from 1996. Brendan began their career at Ernst & Young as an Audit Senior, where they gained a strong foundation in auditing.

In 2000, Brendan joined Mercedes-Benz USA, where they held various managerial positions. Brendan was a Financial Statement Analyst before transitioning to the role of SAP Implementation Team Member, where they played an integral role in implementing the SAP controlling module and the KAPIS special ledger financial reporting package. Brendan then moved on to become the Supervisor for IT Project Controlling, where they managed the financial processes for the Information Technology Management Department, including budget reduction initiatives. Later, they became the Supervisor for IT Distribution Systems, where they managed the support, maintenance, and enhancement of vehicle information systems. Finally, Brendan became the Manager responsible for Budget & Controlling, overseeing the planning, preparation, and controlling of budgets across various departments. During this time, they achieved a significant reduction in general and administrative costs.

In 2015, Brendan joined Mercedes-Benz Manhattan as the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for driving profitability, strategy, process improvement, and control at the flagship retail store. Brendan collaborated directly with executive management to develop and execute strategies, resulting in a 36% improvement in gross profit despite a 5% reduction in revenue.

Most recently, Brendan joined Dennis & Co. Auto Group in 2022 as the VP of Corporate Accounting.

Brendan McNamara, CPA completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minor in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics at the University of Delaware in 1997. Prior to that, they attended Bergen Catholic High School from 1989 to 1993.
