Shelly Bedford

Shelly Bedford is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Partner at Dennis, Gartland & Niergarth since July 1996, Shelly has contributed to the largest locally owned full-service public accounting firm in Northwest Michigan. Prior to this role, Shelly worked as a staff member at Kolbus & Associates, Inc., from December 1995 to July 1996, focusing on tax and accounting work. Shelly's career began at Morey's Food Market, a family-owned business, where responsibilities were held from January 1985 to May 1994. Academically, Shelly holds a Master of Taxation from the University of Denver (1994-1995) and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Michigan University (1992-1994).
