Rachel Kennel

Rachel Kennel is an experienced Application Scientist at DeNovix, Inc. since September 2015, providing user support for DS-11 Series instruments and actively networking at scientific conferences. Prior to this role, Rachel worked as a Research Assistant at the Bais Lab, University of Delaware, focusing on the design of hydrogels for plant growth-promoting bacteria. Previous experiences include an internship at Malvern Instruments, contributing to peer-reviewed publications on DLS microrheology and gaining skills in various materials characterization techniques, as well as serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the April Kloxin Group, where expertise in synthesis and characterization of hydrogels for drug delivery was developed. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware, earned in 2015.
