Anwar Upal

Anwar Upal has a diverse range of work experience, spanning from 2002 to the present. Anwar is currently working as the Director of Technical Program Management & Compliance at Density, where they oversee the team responsible for developing and managing hardware projects related to IoT sensors for building occupancy and capacity. Prior to this role, Anwar served as a Senior Technical Project Manager at Carestream, where they led design development and new product introductions for portable medical imaging systems. Anwar also worked as the Director of Medical Device Programs at the Institute for Pediatric Innovation, where they developed due diligence methodology and successfully secured grant proposals. Anwar has a strong background in program management, having also served as the Manager of PMO at Mevion Medical Systems, where they established the first program management office and guided the development of the proton therapy system. Before that, they were a Senior Project Engineer at DePuy Synthes, where they played a key role in global product development teams.
