Horacio Capote

Horacio Capote, MD, FAPA, FASAM, is a seasoned medical professional specializing in neuropsychiatry. Since June 2004, Capote has served as a partner and director of the Neuropsychiatry Division at the Dent Neurologic Institute. Prior experience includes a tenure as a clinical assistant professor at SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences from June 1995 to December 2015, and as an associate physician at Niagara Frontier Psychiatric Associates from 1999 to June 2004. Capote earned an MD through the Fifth Pathway at New York Medical College from 1990 to 1991, and previously obtained an MD in Medicine from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara between 1983 and 1987. Capote completed a BA in Philosophy and Psychology at New York University from 1979 to 1983.
