Filip Ceacireanu

Filip Ceacireanu is a Reporting Analyst at Dental Departures. Filip previously worked as a Quantitative Research Intern at WorldQuant from July 2018 to October 2018.

At WorldQuant, Filip was responsible for creating alpha signal research and improvement tools using Python and Unix. Filip quickly learned both of these new technologies and exceeded targets by reaching the maximum monthly allowed number of strategies to be proposed in less than three weeks. Filip also has vast experience in alpha signal research, analysing multiple types of databases relevant for financial markets such as the US, Europe, Japan and China.

Filip is an excellent team player and was part of a team of three that explored a newly created alpha research platform and maximized its output. Filip also assisted the team of researchers in learning how to use the newly designed platform. Filip is an independent thinker and is experienced in working without supervision. Filip created over 100 alpha strategies within two months.
