Paul Ohumende

Paul Ohumende is currently the Developer Team Leader at Dental Departures. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at First Bank of Nigeria Ltd., where they were responsible for developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment on Azure. Paul also developed reliable and secure applications in line with the bank’s requirements and policies, as well as interacting with APIs. Some of the notable projects they worked on include the Internet Banking System (using Angular and Azure), the Applications Management Portal (using React and Azure), the Payment Collection System (using Vue Js and Azure), and the First Bills Pay (using Next Js and Azure).

Paul is experienced in working according to Agile Methodology and is known for their responsibility and ownership of tasks. Prior to their work at First Bank of Nigeria Ltd., they were a System Engineer / E-Learning Management System Developer at Kampala International University, as well as a Software Developer at Mira Technologies. Paul began their career as a Student Trainee at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.

Paul Ohumende has a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. Paul is a Certified Data Scientist, and also has certifications from Google in Online Marketing Fundamentals, from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Hour of Code, from NIIT Technologies Limited in CCNA and Comptia N+, and from Coursera in Blockchain Basics and Cybersecurity and Internet of Things. Paul has also completed the Google Online Marketing Challenge.
