Richard Ashby has extensive experience in finance and accounting, having held significant roles over several decades across various companies. Currently serving as Finance Manager at The Dental Directory since May 2014, Richard is responsible for consolidating accounts and Board Pack reporting, transitioning systems to Dynamics AX, and establishing internal controls prior to an IPO. Previously, as Financial Accountant at Commercial First Mortgages Ltd since 2002, Richard was instrumental in setting up financial systems and controls for a growing start-up, managing complex account reconciliations and reporting for multiple companies. Richard's earlier positions include Company Accountant roles at Ingate Motor Company Ltd and dealer accounting positions at numerous automotive companies, where skills in financial reporting and software implementation were developed. Educational qualifications include ACA Intermediate and Final Part 1 from ICAEW as well as a foundational education at Mellow Lane Comprehensive.
