Amy Patterson has significant work experience in the healthcare sector. Amy started their career as a Manager at Western Region Health Centre in 2006, where they were responsible for integrated oral health services. Amy then joined the Victorian Department of Health in 2009 as a Senior Project Officer. In 2011, they transitioned to Dental Health Services Victoria as a Manager of Oral Health Agencies. Amy later became the Manager of Relationship Support & Development, where they led projects to improve the quality of oral health services. Amy Patterson was recently selected for an internal secondment as Director of Oral Health Relationships, focusing on high-priority strategic areas and leading the rollout of the Smile Squad School dental program. Amy is currently serving as the Director of Population Health, accountable for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating population health strategies and programs across Victoria, with a focus on improving oral health outcomes and reducing inequities.
Amy Patterson earned a Master's Degree in Public Health from La Trobe University, completing their studies between 2013 and 2018. In 2022, they obtained the Executive Ready Program certification from Women & Leadership Australia.
