Sascha Gehrung

Sascha Gehrung is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist at dentalXr.ai since August 2019, specializing in deep learning applications, particularly convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for X-ray analysis. Prior experience includes a Data Scientist role at Charité and a position at the Berlin Institute of Health, both focused on deep learning and X-rays. Sascha has also worked as a freelancer on data analysis and an NLP project, held a Data Scientist role at Axel Springer Teaser Ad GmbH, and served as a Junior Data Scientist at Comtravo, where NLP was a key focus. Earlier internships included a Data Scientist position at plista GmbH working with ensemble methods and decision trees. Sascha holds a Master of Science in Engineering Science from Technische Universität Berlin and a Diplom in Business/Managerial Economics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
