Chris Brumfield

Chris Brumfield has over two decades of experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as the Business Manager for the Denton Record-Chronicle since June 2013, overseeing the monthly close process, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and annual financial planning. Previously, Chris worked as the Development Finance and Accounting Manager at SG Development from March 2007 to June 2013, where responsibilities included interfacing with capital market representatives for funding and managing development projects. Prior to that, Chris held various accounting roles at Horizon Health from January 1999 to March 2007, culminating in the position of Senior Strategic Analyst, focusing on financial support for contract management and staff management. Chris holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, completed in 1998, and graduated from Davenport Central High School in 1994.
