Lucinda Breeding-Gonzales has extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as an Education Reporter at the Denton Record-Chronicle since September 1996, where coverage includes K-12 and higher education institutions such as the Denton, Krum, Sanger, and Argyle school districts, as well as the University of North Texas, Texas Woman's University, and North Central Texas College. Prior to this role, Lucinda held multiple positions at the Bay City & Matagorda County Daily Tribune from June 1993 to September 1995, including Features Editor, Entertainment Editor, Religion & Arts Writer, and General Assignment Reporter, covering a wide array of topics from law enforcement to cultural features. Lucinda earned a degree in Journalism and English Language and Literature from Baylor University in 1993.
