Kenny Paton

Kenny Paton is the Head of Oil and Gas for the Middle East and Counsel in Energy at Dentons since January 2019. Previously, Kenny served as a Partner and Head of Oil & Gas in the Energy/Projects Group at Webber Wentzel (in alliance with Linklaters) from March 2014 to September 2018. With extensive experience in both in-house and private practice, Kenny has advised major and independent companies on various aspects of global Energy sector projects. Additionally, Kenny held the position of Partner in Energy and Natural Resources at Bond Dickinson from August 2007 to February 2014 and was part of the Oil & Gas team at McGrigors as an Associate from June 2003 to August 2007. Earlier roles include Solicitor in the Energy and Infrastructure Group at Denton Wilde Sapte from July 2001 to July 2003, Group General Counsel at Expro Group from July 2000 to July 2001, and Solicitor at Paull & Williamsons from October 1996 to July 2000. Kenny holds a Diploma in Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Dundee.
