Laura Gibson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in labor and employment law. Currently serving as a Partner and head of the Labor & Employment Section at Dentons since January 2016, Laura provides representation to management in employment matters. In addition, Laura holds the position of Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Directors for the State Bar of Texas, having previously led during the 2018-2019 bar year and actively encourages the involvement of Texas lawyers in enhancing the profession. Prior to her current role, Laura was a Partner at Ogden, Gibson Broocks Longoria & Hall, LLP from March 1993 to January 2016 and served as a Partner at Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell, LLP from January 1985 to March 1993. Laura earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University.
