Dr. Christian Schmidt

Dr. Christian Schmidt has extensive work experience, starting in 1998 as a Scientific Assistant at Fraunhofer IPT. Dr. Christian then worked at TH Mittelhessen, University of Applied Sciences as a Lecturer from October 2009 to June 2011. Since February 2004, they have been with Dentsply Sirona, where they held various roles including Senior Project Manager R&D and currently serves as Chief Product Owner (CPO) 3D Printing.

Dr. Christian Schmidt completed their education with a Skilled Worker degree in Mechanical Engineering from Niles Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH in 1990. Dr. Christian then went on to earn a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Production Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin between 1991 and 1998. Finally, they obtained a Dr.-Ing. degree in Process Technology from RWTH Aachen University from 2003 to 2008.
