Ingrid Cangelosi, PhD, CIPP/E, currently serves as Senior Counsel - EMEA at Dentsply Sirona since March 2024. Previously, Ingrid held the position of Legal Advisor on AI Regulation for Medical Devices at the European Commission from December 2023 to June 2024. Ingrid has extensive academic experience as a Researcher of European Comparative Law and Data Protection at Università Carlo Cattaneo - LIUC from November 2011 to 2024, contributing to research in Private Comparative Law and participating in the “Access to Medicine” project. Ingrid's professional experience includes roles as Legal and Compliance Manager and Data Protection Officer at ACIST Medical Systems, Legal Manager at Bracco, and Senior Legal Counsel and Privacy at Sanofi. Earlier legal practice includes an associate position at N&G Legal law firm and a legal practice role at Janssen-Cilag.
