Yu Hirayama

Yu Hirayama is the CEO of Dentsu Innovation Studio, a position they have held since March 2020. Prior to this, they were a General Partner at Dentsu Ventures from April 2015 to March 2020.

Hirayama began their career at Mizuho Securities in April 2005, where they worked in the M&A Advisory Group. Yu left Mizuho Securities in December 2009 to join Dentsu, where they served as Director of the Corporate Strategy Division from January 2010 to April 2015.

In their role at Dentsu, Hirayama was responsible for developing the company's Mid-term business plan, “Dentsu 2017 and Beyond.” Yu also played an important role in the Aegis Group acquisition project (USD4B+).
