Patterson Williams has been working at the Denver Art Museum since 1980 as the Head of School and Teacher Programs, specializing in education with the museum's Asian and textile collections. Prior to this, they worked at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Walters Art Museum as a museum educator. They hold a MA in art history from the University of Michigan and a BFA in art and liberal arts from Denison University.
