Robert C. Newman

Robert Newman and his wife Judi are passionate about the arts and give much of their time serving non-profits that share creativity and educational opportunities with the community. Now retired, Robert owns Greenwood Gulch Ventures and was previously the Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of J.D. Edwards and Co. He graduated with a Bachelor’s from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master’s in Business from UCLA and a Ph.D. from Golden Gate University. He is currently on the boards of the Daniels College of Business Executive Advisory Board for the University of Denver, Denver Art Museum, Getty Museum Paintings Council, and University of Miami Entrepreneurship Council. His generous giving to the Robert & Judi Newman Performing Arts Center at the University of Denver and their own Robert & Judi Newman Center for Theatre Education have given students of all backgrounds spaces to explore their passions and succeed in the arts.
