Ryan Leuthner

Ryan Leuthner has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ryan is currently the Director of Digital Strategy & Marketing at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, where they founded and leads an in-house marketing agency. Ryan is responsible for guiding client marketing strategies, managing budgets, and overseeing a high-performing team.

Prior to this, Ryan served as the Director of Digital Strategy / Vice President of Marketing & Communications at The Climate Reality Project for eight years. Ryan directed and oversaw the development and execution of marketing, creative, and digital fundraising campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive membership growth.

Ryan also has experience at Common Knowledge, where they held roles such as Senior Strategist / Director of Creative & Usability. Ryan led ideation and planning of client marketing campaigns and managed creative teams and consulting resources to deliver high-quality work. Ryan also served as a Digital Strategist, helping clients develop strategic online initiatives.

Before Common Knowledge, Ryan worked as a Senior Campaign Manager at Care2, where they implemented online marketing campaigns for constituent acquisition and fundraising. Ryan also gained experience as a Regional Conservation Representative at the Sierra Club and as a Research Associate at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where they taught undergraduate courses and conducted research in public management and environment policy.

Ryan's career began with AmeriCorps, where they served as a member and gained valuable experience in community service.

Ryan Leuthner received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Administration from the University of Evansville, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Ryan then went on to pursue a Master of Public Affairs degree in Natural Resource Management from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, which they completed from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained a Juris Doctorate degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, graduating from 1999 to 2003.
