Laura Briggs is a legal industry veteran with extensive experience in legal research, content writing, and marketing strategy. After eight years of working as an SEO content and email newsletter writer for small law firms all over the country, Laura worked with Lawyerist as the Marketing & Partnerships Director and served as the host of the leading industry show, “The Lawyerist Podcast” where she interviewed dozens of legal and leadership experts. She’s excited to bring the fusion of creativity and analytical ability to Denver Legal Marketing to support the company’s clients with innovative offline and online marketing strategies.

Laura holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and is “all but dissertation” with her Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy from Virginia Tech. Her academic research on public policy, domestic violence, and family court have been used as a teaching tool at the University of California.

Laura is a recognized digital marketing and future of work expert as an ongoing contributor to Entrepreneur.com and a two-time TEDx speaker. She received her first book deal in 2018 and is now the author of five business books. Laura volunteers her time as the founder and executive director of Operation Freelance, a national 501c3 organization that provides free virtual entrepreneurship training to military spouses.
