Lauren Abman

Lauren Abman is a Senior Design Associate at Denver Modern, starting in February 2023, and has previously served as a Design Associate at Room & Board from January 2019 to September 2022. Abman's extensive experience includes roles such as Exhibition Specialist at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, and Assistant Director at Vicki Myhren Gallery, University of Denver, where responsibilities included directing programs and managing staff. A Cultural Arts Specialist for Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, Abman developed arts education programs and collaborated with local nonprofits. Additionally, experience at the Williams College Museum of Art as a Kress Interpretive Fellow involved creating exhibition guides and managing public programs. Abman's academic background includes a Master's degree in Public Humanities from Brown University and a B.A. in Russian Studies from Reed College, supplemented by international experience in St. Petersburg, Russia.
