Zeth Lietzau

Director Of Central, Collections, Technology, And Strategy at Denver Public Library

Zeth Lietzau has a diverse range of work experience in the library and research field. Zeth started their career at the Jefferson County Public Library in 2003, where they worked as an Adult Information Services Librarian. Their responsibilities included assisting patrons with reference questions, participating in collection development, and teaching basic computing classes in Spanish. In 2007, Zeth joined the Library Research Service as a Senior Research Analyst, where they designed and maintained the organization's website and created content for it. Zeth was then promoted to Associate Director in 2007. In 2010, Zeth moved to the Denver Public Library, where they held various roles, including Manager of Digital User Experience and Community Technology Center and Director of Central, Collections, Technology, and Strategy.

Zeth Lietzau obtained a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Macalester College, which they attended from 1994 to 1998. Later on, they pursued further education in the field of Librarianship, earning a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree from the University of Denver between 2002 and 2004.
