Dr. Sheri Charles

Dr. Sheri Charles currently serves as the Regional Assistant Instructional Superintendent at Denver Public Schools, a position held since September 2015, and oversees Strategic School Support within Human Resources. Prior to this role, Dr. Charles was a faculty member in the Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Studies at the University of Denver from July 2014 to August 2015 and worked as an adjunct faculty member at the same institution from June 2012 to June 2014. With extensive experience in K-12 education, Dr. Charles held the position of Director of Student Achievement at Aurora Public Schools for 12 years, focusing on elementary and secondary school supervision and early childhood education. Additionally, Dr. Charles has served as the Director of Human Resources. Dr. Charles earned a Research Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Administration from Florida State University.
