Heather Covey

Heather Covey is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in project management and strategic planning within Denver Public Schools since January 2015. As the Director of Planning, Analysis and Real Estate, Covey has driven initiatives aimed at equitable education, managed large-scale engagement surveys, and served on key task forces to enhance the recruitment and retention of African-American educators. In addition to a role as Principal and Founder of Strategist Consulting, LLC, Covey’s past experiences include serving as a graduate teaching assistant at Columbia University and teaching high school mathematics through Teach For America. Covey holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Rhodes College.
