James D.

James D. has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Denver Public Schools since August 2016. In addition to these roles, James has been involved as a site leader for Ready for 202X and Summer Connections, as well as holding the position of Dean of Students. Prior experience includes serving as a Defensive Coordinator and Long Term Substitute Teacher at Monrovia Unified School District from January 2012 to June 2015, where responsibilities included developing emergent curriculum and fostering children's growth through engaging activities. James holds a Master’s Degree in Education from National University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Wyoming.
