Laurie Premer

Laurie Premer possesses extensive experience in educational administration and policy enhancement, currently serving as the Director of Choice and Enrollment for Denver Public Schools since August 2014. In this role, Laurie develops and executes strategies to improve equitable school enrollment processes for over 87,000 students across 230+ schools, leading a team of 25 staff members. Prior experience includes positions such as Senior Choice Manager at Denver Public Schools, Director of Human Capital and Talent Systems at the NYC Department of Education, and Director of Research Administration and Operations at the National MS Society. Laurie's expertise encompasses data management, policy recommendations, operational oversight, and student services, supported by a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and English from the University of Colorado Denver.
