Richard Charles

Richard Charles, Ph.D., GSP has over a decade of work experience in the field of education. From 2009 to 2019, they worked at the Cherry Creek School District as the Director of STEM & Innovation. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing and implementing STEM programs and fostering innovation within the district. In 2019, they joined Denver Public Schools and held the position of Director of Innovation until December 2021. Richard then became the Director of Policy Governance and, most recently, the Chief Information Officer.

Richard Charles, Ph.D., GSP holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder. Richard also obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering & Applied Science.
