Max Griffis

Max Griffis is a Philanthropy Officer at Denver Rescue Mission since July 2022, driving engagement and financial contributions while managing a portfolio of 150 major donor accounts. Prior to this role, Max served as a Donor Relations Associate at the same organization, focusing on donor cultivation and legacy giving. Experience also includes serving as a Nonprofit Project Manager for The Navigators, where fundraising efforts totaled $150,000, and supervising a team of over 80 volunteers. Max's early career includes roles in leadership and admissions at Colorado State University, along with work as a Legislative Staff and Policy Analyst at the Society of American Foresters and a Wildland Firefighter for the Bureau of Land Management. Max holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry from Colorado State University.
