Denver Rescue Mission
Pat La Plante has extensive experience in mental health and crisis intervention, currently serving as a Crisis Therapist at Community Reach Center since September 2017. Additionally, Pat has held a long-term role as a Supervising Counselor at Denver Rescue Mission since August 1991, where responsibilities include establishing a counseling department and supervising interns. Pat is also a Licensed Professional Counselor for a residential women's program at Champa House. Involvement extends to The Navigators as a Team Member providing pastoral care, as well as roles as a Crisis Counselor at Crisis Care Network and Crisis Intervention Specialist at Anchor Counseling and Communications. Prior positions include Chaplain/Milieu Coordinator at Eating Recovery Center and various roles in radio as a News Anchor and News Director. Educational qualifications include multiple Master's degrees in Spiritual Formation and Counseling, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Interpersonal Communications from Virginia Tech.
