Brian Aucone

Brian Aucone serves as the Chief Conservation Officer for both the Denver Zoological Foundation and the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance. With a career that spans over two decades, Brian Aucone has held numerous leadership positions at the Denver Zoological Foundation since 2010, including Senior Vice President roles in Animal Care, Animal Sciences, and Life Sciences. Prior experience includes key roles at the Oklahoma City Zoological Park and Botanical Garden, and the Dallas Zoo. Brian Aucone holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Northern Colorado and has completed multiple leadership programs through the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
