Cristina Sloan is an accomplished leader in philanthropy and education with extensive experience in various roles focused on development and community partnerships. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Philanthropy at the Denver Zoological Foundation, Cristina has held multiple positions within the organization since October 2019, including Director of Development and Partnerships and Major Gifts Manager. Previously, Cristina worked at the University of Colorado Denver as the Director of Development, contributing to the advancement office's mission to connect donors with university needs. As the Founder of Sloan Tutoring, LLC from 2005 to 2019, Cristina supported students in overcoming academic challenges. Additional experience includes serving as Chief Development Officer at the Emily Griffith Foundation and teaching at Kent Denver School and St. George's School. Cristina holds a Master of Arts in Religious Studies from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Tulane University.
